Proloquo Trials
If a clinician wishes to trial Proloquo with a client, we are now able to do so. A trial license for 90 days can be provided to the client. For CAT1 trials in the community, a CAT1 support request form must be completed and note that you want to trial Proloquo.
The client/team are required to make an AssistiveWare Account. Once this has been created and the trial is about to start, this email address needs to be provided to trials@talklink.org.nz. Please ensure that you do this a few days prior to your trial starting
Once the account has been created, a 90 license will be applied to that account. The client/team will be sent an email that they need to accept, and the license will start from that date. Please note that while the email says they can create an account from there, we would prefer the account created prior to this to keep the process smooth.
An example of the email the client/team will receive is below.
Once they have accepted the license, they can then login to the app on the iPad. The iPad will need to be connected to Wi-Fi for this to happen, and once signed in, the iPad needs to be disconnected from Wi-Fi. They can sign into this account on any device that has Proloquo downloaded during the 90-day trial. Any changes made to the app will be saved to that account. There is no ability to have multiple users under the app, or under the same account.
If successful, and funding for Proloquo is to be applied for, then the same AssistiveWare account will need to be provided to DTSL, and the funded 5-year licence will be loaded against the account once funding is approved.
